just finished my 1st wk of postin at a geron ward... compared to med-surg wards, things are done in a slower pace and it is nt too bz procedures are limited... however u get to c lots of elderly ill... rather sad though but come to think of it, its a blessing aldy as they had lived a long life!

had some sort of communication barriers w the old folks... they speak damn chim dialects and i gt probz w cantonese! haiyo... and sometimes whn they r rowdy they tend to get angry cuz u dun understand em! but nevertheless met a few interesting folks... aoverall still a fruitful exp la... and even encountered a violent case! exciting wk...
