Prawning finally

after hearing so much
and ate so much of prawns Linda and Husband prawned,
i finally got the chance to try this new activity...(for me new la)

i can still rem 2-3 years back
when linda invited us to her birthday chalet
and there was a wide spread of seafood and all the prawns were caught by them!

we had a 3 hrs session
and we took turns
5 of us with 2 rods

it really takes alot patience
but the thrill and excitement if having caught one is so funny

and
we decided on a steamboat the very next day to cook the prawns

the doggy is Ruby
Hanz's bro and gf's pet...

this narcissistic bitch took my cam and took a pic with his bro and gf's pet kittens!

cuz the 2 kittens are always hungry

Yesterday i went MOF= Ministry of Food with EB

its this rather new japanese food...
and i tell u the dessert is NICE!!!

THINKING about it now makes me crave for it again!

the one i circled is actually vanilla ice cream with macha flavoring and served with my fave SWEET POTATO!!!

And the ice cream is cold while the sweet potato is sort of fried!

and the combie is magical!

and this place is pretty cool cuz they gave u a slip of paper like the size of vouchers and gives u instruction on how to eat the dessert best!

yesterday morning i went with Angela and Coral for Dim Sum at the really LOK chinatown area... Chin Swee Road
apparently this place is very famous

i went bowling with some of my colleagues

cuz the meet up was very random

We finally went bowling with LEW!

Lew is just like my mother

i find her very alike to my mum
even her nagging

we went Marina

well i am just not very gifted to bowl
but then we had fun

the lanes were rather F* UP AT times
and the service was not very good either
but we had fun

the dinner was rather yucky

and i totally think its not worth the price

in fact it is by Shisido
and the main target group are teens in Japan

But i have been really hooked to their products
i used their mascara first
and its damn good!

and the casing for all their products are so pretty!

the eye shadow has 4 colours

yesterday Beibz and i accompanied Hanz on a New Year shopping frenzy

this funny hanz had earlier bought some cashew nuts, mini prawn rolls i think a week ago when we visited chinatown

and they entire family finished it up b4 CNY!

we q-ed with him for Bak Kwa
at Bee Cheng Hiang cuz the famous LIM CHEE GUAN already sold out all the sliced pork ones but despite that the q is still pretty long!

speaking of this
few days back
we were just discussing about the q with my malay colleagues who call this deng deng babi...

which i guess they find it fascinating to see us q-ing for it
i dun quite noe whats the purpose of having that on CNY
and i am not a HUGE FAN of it
but my brother is

and he had ever went out at 6am to q for it...

while we were q-ing yesterday,
we tried the samples and well

Bee Cheng Hiang does have slightly better quality ones c/f the ones my dad got this year

i just tried one piece just now
and its is HARD

My bro commented that his jaws are tired
whereas Bee Cheng Hiang ones are softer in texture and yummier

nevertheless

i guess CNY is realy DA season to eat and grow fat
i am already annoyed with my current weight boom

anyway i changed venue to AMK instead
and the place hasn't changed!

I haven been there for so many years
like 5 years?!

and i rem vividly i used to frequent the place with my sec sch mates
we go there everyday or if not every other day
when we were 16

we finished our N levels and had hell lot of free time b4 the new year starts
we would go there at 9-10 am
and stayed there till 3-4

and we would make Guaz sneak out to get CHAO TAO KUEI
which is damn yummy lor!

the place hasn't changed

and i was so happy
thinking back the old days

had dismissed my backache as bad posture

b4 i made my round

my colleague's husband is sick

these bad news is affecting me quite badly
i can understand their feelings
for when my father was sick
i was really really sad
and i literally cried everyday
when i see him, i cry
when others asked about him i cry too

i sincerely pray for their well- being

i just watched 4BIA with beibz and hanz!

SO SCARY!
